My Favorites & A Winner

As always, you girls are good! There were some pretty amazing finds, transformations, and ideas. Thanks to everyone for sharing and I hope to see you this Friday as well (and then we'll take a break for Christmas and New Years.) Here are my favorites from last week.

Beverage cart/Potting table by Decor Made Simple. She added an enamel roaster to a free sewing machine cabinet (and gave it a face lift) to give it a multi-functional new life. Very creative and resourceful!

Shannon from Posh Pieces and her built-in window bench. This is a fantastic piece of built-in furniture! Stylish, functional, tons of storage, and seating for a crowd. The whole family got involved and produced something they can enjoy for many years and it adds value to their home.

MRSO from The Life of a Future Domestic Goddess and her Beachy Hall Table. This is such a great example of how a coat of paint in the right color can take a ho-hum piece and make it stunning. I love the aqua color she chose and it really does evoke a breezy, beachy feel. Lovely job!

Annie from Living With Annie and her Suitcase Table Makeover. I picked this link as one of my favorites for several reasons. First of all, this is a great find. Second, she negotiated the price from $95 to $35! (Can you shop with me?) Lastly, this is a great makeover. Her color and design choices turned out beautiful. This is a really cool table and a great idea for those old suitcases you stumble across at flea markets.
And the winner of the $25 gift certificate to spend at Kim's Etsy shop, Larkspur Interiors is...
Creative Little Daisy and her Coffee Table turned Tufted Ottoman. You must check out what this coffee table looked like before. It had a glass insert, which is not all that comfy on the feet and certainly not something you could use for extra seating. This girl removed the glass and added a tufted, upholstered insert to make it an inviting ottoman. Great work! (And isn't the rest of her space divine?)
Thank you, Kim for your generous giveaway!
I had so much fun looking through all of the entries. I can't wait for warmer weather when yard sales commence, garage doors fly opened to let paint fumes escape, and curbside finds are turned into treasured heirlooms. Until then, keep braving the weather and keep linking up! You people in the south have no excuse!
