Feed Sack Pillows

First of all, the winner of the Well of Creations camera bag giveaway is Teresa!  Congrats!  I do not have an e-mail for you, so please send me an e-mail to claim your prize.

Well, I have been a busy girl, so I've been a little quiet on my blog the past couple of days.  You lovely ladies have not been quiet, though!  Holy Cow!  I can't believe how popular "Miss Mustard Seed in a Box" is.  I wish I had a few hundred to give away.  It's been a real encouragement for me to read all of your comments and compliments.  Thanks so much for making my blog what it is today.

We had some friends from our church over for lunch today, so that kept me away and yesterday one of our youth girls came over for some help with making a dress.  Now, I do not make clothes, so this was definitely the blind leading the blind.  The end result?  We pinned and cut and I complained about how confusing the pattern directions were and now she needs to go buy all new fabric, because I messed it up.  I didn't "fold" the fabric we were supposed to fold and we ended up with nowhere near enough pieces to make a dress.  All of you women who sew clothing...I tip my hat.

You can stop laughing at me now.

So, I sewed something I was good at to make me feel better about myself.  I made two pillows out of my favorite feed sack, that was a recent Luckett's purchase.
I love the brown stripes and the stamping on it.  It was a huge feed sack, so I had enough to make one large pillow and one small one.  They look perfect in our office, which I think I'm going to decorate in a brown, white and black color scheme.
I also made one to put in my booth at the upcoming Old Luckett's Fair.  I loaded up on down pillow forms and I am going to make some more to sell.
This one is going to be hard to let go.
Those that don't sell at Luckett's will go up on Etsy, so keep an eye out for them!

Don't forget to enter my 2000 follower giveaway if you haven't already.  Good luck to all of you!
