A Winner and The Barn Sale

First of all, some business...  Thanks to all who participated in the Lisa Leonard Giveaway!  The winner of $40 to spend at Lisa Leonard's shop is Melissa from Stamping with Melissa!  Congratulations!  Just send me an e-mail (marian@missmustardseed.com) and I'll give you all of the details to claim your prize.

This is an exciting weekend for me.  It is my very first barn sale as a vendor with Chartreuse and Company in Buckeystown, Maryland, which is near Frederick.  I've only been to the barn twice.  The first time was one month ago, as a shopper.  The second time was last week and I was setting up my shared booth as a vendor.  It's amazing how things can fall into place, isn't it?  I have truly been so blessed in my business.  Some day, I need to sit down and write a post about the journey and all of the people who took a chance on me.  I am constantly amazed and a little befuddled by it.

Anyway, here are pictures of the booth I share with two delightful women who have perfect taste, Lynette and Christine.

Yes, it is literally a barn sale and we are in the hay loft...hay included!  There's also almost zero natural light, so you'll have to cut me some slack on the photos.

I love this little chest.  Christine has a knack for finding things I'm looking for!  I want a small chest like this to replace the foyer table I sold at Lucketts.

Lynette painted this sweet drum table...

...and I'm seriously thinking about buying this vanity for my half bath.  I'm going to have to measure to see if it will fit.  If it doesn't sell and the measurements are right, I'll know it was meant for me.  The hardest thing about working with these ladies is that I want to buy everything they're selling!  We could just get together and swap things, but then we'd never make any money.

I am in love with this cubby hole shelf that I'm selling.  It was a divider in a large crate that held glass water bottles.  It has the coolest metal details on it.  Love.

The sale runs through Sunday, so try to make it out if you're local.  It really is an amazing place, even if you just want to walk around and get creative ideas.  You will leave inspired.
