Furniture Feature Friday - Favorites & A Link Party

Today, I am paying homage to those who repurpose in the most creative and beautiful ways.  Can saw horses and a pallet really become a cool desk?  Can an antiquated TV become a great storage piece?  Can a card catalog cabinet become a buffet?  In the right hands...all of these things are possible.  Did these ladies move mountains?  I should say so!  Ladies (and helpers), take a bow!

Isn't this the most amazing buffet you've ever seen ever in the whole wide world?  Adri from Dream Book Designs and her clever husband made this out of old card catalog files.  Oh, the work that went into this piece!  It's so special, though, and well worth it.  It's definitely not the sort of piece to store your table cloths, but it is great for toothpicks, flatware, napkins, and bottles of wine.  I'm just in awe.

April from Home Hinges tackled one of those behemoth built-in TV cabinets and turned it into a really cool storage piece.  I remember watching TV on a set similar to this and turning the dial to choose between about 12 channels...and I'm only 32!!  Isn't it amazing how much technology has advanced?  Anyway, well done, girl!

And, of course, I have to tip my hat to my dear friend Funky Junk Donna, who made a unique and functional computer desk out of saw horses, a ladder and a pallet.  This lady is tops in the resourcefulness department in my book.

I can't wait to see all of the amazing furniture this week, so link away!

Here are the rules for this get together...
1.) Your post has to be about furniture.  Please, please, please...just furniture.  If you find your link has been deleted, it's not because I'm mean, it's because your post was not about furniture.  You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list!  Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink (the link to the post), not the link to your blog.
3.) The link party closes Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their project on next week's FFF.
