One quick note. One of my readers, Crystal from Funky Monkey Business, is having a giveaway for a $40 CSN gift card. You can read all about it here!
And the blues win it! There were a lot of great pieces posted, as always, but there were several painted in the prettiest shade of blue and I had to showcase them. They are a great example of how painting a piece the right color can even make a cheap laminate piece look good.
Danny and Kacey from A Life of Blue displayed great teamwork on this vintage French provincial buffet to give it a fresh, new look. Their glazing was perfect and I love the color.
Lindsey from the Pleated Poppy transformed this table from pretty to gorgeous with a coat of this soft aqua color. It even makes everything around it look better.
Kim from My Domestic Bliss went out on a limb by painting this coffee table a pretty blue. It was a nice piece of furniture to begin with, but in the blue...wowee. I love how it brings out the blue in the rug. Way to take the leap, Kim.
Katie from Cowboy Phraseology painted this brown laminate console and turned it into a piece that looks custom and expensive. This is a great example of decorating on a budget with things you already have.
Cassie from Primitive and Proper did it again with this beautiful dresser makeover. She is a girl after my own heart leaving the beautiful wood top alone. I love your work, Cassie!
I can't wait to see all of the projects, rooms and cherished pieces you have to share with me this week! I will be at the Lucketts Antique Fair next weekend, so FFF will be suspended. I will be holding a Lucketts Linky in a few days for bloggers who are coming to the fair. I want to make sure I get to meet everyone who is there!
1.) Your post has to be about furniture. Please, please, please...just furniture. If you find your link has been deleted, it's not because I'm mean, it's because your post was not about furniture. You can share makeovers, awesome finds, favorite pieces, furniture arrangements, or even pieces on your wish list! Built-in furniture like kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities qualify as furniture.
2.) Post a permalink, not the link to your blog.
3.) The link party closes Friday at midnight PST and I will choose my favorite(s) and feature their project on next week's FFF.
