Vintage Skye Giveaway

One of my favorite things about blogging is meeting talented women who have started their own "kitchen counter business."  I feel such a kinship with them.  I recently had the privilege of welcoming one of those talented women, Kristi from Vintage Skye, as a sponsor.  She makes beautiful clay knobs and tags, concrete eggs (with real ducklings as props) and fabric flowers and sells them in her Etsy shop along with vintage finds.

I love her work and used some of her hand made knobs and tags on my pieces sold at Lucketts.  Right after the sale, I wrote her an e-mail begging for more.  Yes...I'm a knob-hog.  And a tag-hog.

Would you like to win some of her clay knobs?  Well, you've come to the right place at the right time.  Vintage Skye is graciously offering 30...that's right...THIRTY clay knobs.  The winner may choose any combination of knobs she (or he) wants.  Some people could outfit their entire kitchen with 30 knobs!

Here's what you need to do to enter: visit the Vintage Skye Etsy Shop, then come back here and leave a comment letting me know which knobs you would choose if you are the winner.  That's it!

Here are a few of my favorites...

I used those on one of my Paris Grey dressers.

I also love her tags.  I didn't "get" the clay tag thing at first, but now I want to tie them onto everything.  They add a nice finishing touch on pitchers, baskets, glass jars...

...and little metal baby buggy frames with lavender bunches in them.  Perfect finishing touch for those...since so many people have those hanging around.

Check out Vintage Skye and then leave a comment letting me know which knob(s) you would like.  The giveaway ends Sunday, May 29 at midnight PST and a winner will be randomly chosen and announced on Monday, May 30.  Good luck to all!

If you'd like to show some additional love, add Vintage Skye to your Etsy favorites and Circles or share this giveaway on the social media network you like best.

I'm getting ready to go to Warrenton, VA to style a wedding this weekend.  I'm packing up about half my house to bring along.  Can I just say it is sick how many pitchers I have?  Certifiable.

I did find a great outfit to wear to the wedding, which was a real feat, since I dislike clothes shopping a great deal.  Well, I like it, but sometimes it's depressing.  Yesterday I found a lot of great things, so it was fun.  Here's a sneak peek of my outfit.

Yes...I wear a lot of black and grey...even to a wedding...and yes, I put my wedding outfit on my dress form to take some pictures.  I'll share the full outfit and more details about the wedding this weekend.
