Babini Executive office Must range table

I think Babini are stunning example of modern and contemporary Italian furniture.

This pictured example is from the "must" range which is within the Executive office range.

I Really love the form of the table seating and desk with its powerful lines and feelling of stength.

From The Babini site:

A easy and round design, the use of glass together with aluminium and wengĂ©, the particular worktops connection. It tells of a rigorous design focused on professionals and managers’ requirements, who look at the office as the interpretation of their own working and living style.

I'm sure to blog some more from Babini but in for now why not check out the Must range and entire collection here

Beautiful built-ins

I've lived in quite a few old houses and one thing I love about them are the built-in features. Bookcases, desks, window seats - they add so much charm and personality. How about you? What's your feeling on built-ins?

A dreamy day bed/window seat - oh the hours I could spend there

serene office - my desk is never that clean though - as I use it to work on... :)

I love this room. The curtains hung lower ads a lot of dimension to the room I think...

A surprising resource for home decorating (and it's on sale!)

I go through a novel a week commuting to and from work on the train, and I usually procure my literary enjoyment through Barnes and Noble. Little did I know they had such an extensive collection of home decor and small furniture goods until they sent me an email announcing their 20% off spring sale on their home collection. It's worth a look if you need things for your home office and or library.

Love these mini white vases

This interesting vase/bowl/platform is called liquid cardboard - is recycled and recyclable, and you can shape it.

The Office

While visiting my old workplace yesterday, I couldn't help but notice the lack attention paid to the aesthetics of the office. This is by no means uncommon, which if you think about it is surprising considering the amount of time we all spend in the office. It's been proven through and through that good office design can promote productivity. It doesn't take much to improve your workspace either. For example, add some orange to your cubicle, and it will aid creativity. Get a small desk lamp with an incandescent bulb, and give your eyes a rest from constantly flickering fluorescents. Add a small floor rug to make your space feel more like home, and hang art or pictures on your walls that motivate you.

A small rug or mat can take the industrial edge off your work station. UrbanOutfitters, $28

Office Space

Having a gorgeous home office makes working a joy. Your home office should have comfortable furnishings, easy access to storage and organization systems to discourage clutter, and inspiring decor. Here are some examples of home office setups I would love to have room for!

This is my favorite. It's modern, has great windows and light, and is clean and organized.

I would need a couch and table here to spread out and have a comfy place to read.
