I'm not a huge Etsy browser, but every now and then I'll take a peek to see what designers and crafters are up to. I always find something to add to my wishlist! The latest discovery is Nest Pretty Things, check out the pretty canvas pouches!

An adorable home decor and accessories store with a good cause

I was introduced to Nest a few weeks ago, and I finally got around to checking it out. Besides their products, the best thing about Nest is their mission:

"Nest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of women in developing countries. The mission of Nest is to support women artists and artisans in the developing world by helping them create sustainable entrepreneurial businesses. To do this, Nest provides micro-credit loans to be used for the purchase of the supplies and materials necessary to begin and/or maintain art or craft-based businesses."

I look forward to seeing what they have in the future as the companies grow! They also have a lot of cool, indie products by domestic designers.

A surprising resource for home decorating (and it's on sale!)

I go through a novel a week commuting to and from work on the train, and I usually procure my literary enjoyment through Barnes and Noble. Little did I know they had such an extensive collection of home decor and small furniture goods until they sent me an email announcing their 20% off spring sale on their home collection. It's worth a look if you need things for your home office and or library.

Her sweet and child-focused handmade textiles, art, and stationary are just what the world needs a little more of - especially in these times.
