A chic and stunning Manhattan apartment

It's hard for black and white to not look chic....

One day I will have a huge gorgeous mirror in my entry way like this.

This room is a nice reading refuge from the dark walls used in the master bedroom.

What do you think?

Bathroom love - lavish and luxe

Right now I have been sharing a teeny, tiny bathroom with 5 other people while living with my boyfriend in Spain (we live with two other couples). I'm heading back to the states on Friday, where I will stay with my parents until my boyfriend and I go apartment hunting in DC in August. My parents just beautifully renovated their bathroom and I can't wait to go back to using that one for a little while!

This tub looks so wonderfully deep - and the chandelier above it is a great idea...

I don't know if I've ever seen a tub positioned in a corner like that, but I love the view from the windows and the blue on the wall

A sad day - and a loss for the web

This morning I went to check on the Domino website and it was gone!!! This is devastating, as I wasn't finished collecting images! I've been in denial for so long. A moment of silence my friends.

My favorites from this month's Domino - what are yours?

There was one piece in particular I really loved from the February issue of Domino. It was a piece on flowers as decor and the photography and styling was particularly beautiful - and achievable! What do you think - what's your favorite "flower style"?

Modern rustic?

Romantic sophisticate?

or Exotic bohemian?

There was also a house tour featured which had some nice photos:

Love the black for the bathroom walls, and the framed detention paper!

Picture Potpourri

Every now and then I accumulate a bunch of images that, for some reason or another, didn't make it onto a post. That doesn't mean they're lacking in anyway, they just didn't fit into a theme. So I thought I'd just make a little potpourri post to share them with you. Some of them I was bad and didn't remember to source them, so please forgive me, and let me know if you know the source!
