Interior design eyecandy

I'm a happy girl today because my boyfriend finally returned from his seemingly never-ending vacation to Chile. However, since it is rainy today, and, well, it's Monday - why not some gratuitous prettiness? Enjoy!

Conservative goes modern

Alright, so I'm a little bit of a Martha kick this week. I was really surprised to see these images were hers, because some of them are definitely erring more on the modern side, when you usually turn to Martha for more traditional, classic ideas. Some of them, of course, do have touches of romance and country flair, but all in all I think the rooms are very well done.

I love this big home office desk!

Benches stacked up as shelves!

Neat way to partition a bed in a studio

Office in a closet

I wish I'd thought to cover my boxspring with a fitted sheet before buying a fussy bed skirt

Love the white bedroom

Beautiful spaces that also looked lived in...can it be so!?

Joining us from that culinary genius in a boot we call Italy, some interiors that are clean, modern, and also are actually lived in!

Look at those cupboards!

I wonder if that couch is as comfy as it looks

Gorgeous wardrobe

I love how this loft has a room sectioned off, it reminds me of a greenhouse

Dream Kitchens

I don't feature a whole lot of inspiration for kitchens; I guess because I don't really use mine too often. Ashley + kitchen= disaster. I've tried and tried, but things just don't really seem to work for me in there, so I leave it to others. However...count on Eric Roth to inspire me! He captures these kitchens so beautifully, even I would be willing to spend time in them!

Love the big wood table mixed in with modern furniture

This kitchen looks like a Vemeer...we just need a lady with a pitcher...

Lovely dog. Also, the wood beams with the venetian plaster paint technique really adds an "old world" feel.
