The Politics of Seating

As always, thanks for stopping by. Today I figured I'd have some fun with Presidential politics, without getting...well, political. Political preference, much like seating, is a personal choice based on many factors. In both, you have the option to be more conservative and traditional, or go with something more modern.

On the one hand, you have John McCain - the battle-tested veteran of world affairs and Washington politics. He has a long track record we can examine and decide if he is qualified for the job or not. I compare the GOP candidate to this leather executive chair from Hooker Furniture. Both have been around for ages - some might say too long - and they are a safe choice if that is your preference. But for some people, this choice just doesn't feel right...

Then there is Barack Obama - the Change candidate. He is new, he doesn't sound like most politicians, but he just doesn't have the track record. Still, millions of people, disenchanted by traditional politics, are attracted to his message of hope. I compare Obama to the Aeron chair from Herman Miller. Although the chair has been around for more than a decade now, it came on the scene and revolutionized the way people viewed office seating.

Either way, there are two great choices, so do your homework and find the one that works for you!
