The Master of Art Nouveau

I thought I'd just share some drawings from one of my favorite artists for a little change of pace. Alphonse Mucha influenced more than just drawing and painting, but was involved in the design of jewelry, dishes, and other home decor. Enjoy!

Oh Zara, why do you taunt me!

Zara is a staple to many budget-conscious girls here in the city, but the only thing we can adorn with Zara are our closets and ourselves. Across the pond, girls can adorn their entire apartment in the awesome and affordable goods offered up at Zara Home. I've yet to hear any news of them giving us a little love in the states, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

The perfect bedding

I have a weakness for lovely bedding. So opening up the latest issue of Pottery Barn bed and bath was like a surprise birthday party! I usually find something I like, but this issue was just too much! I like so many of the textiles they have out right now. How will I ever pick one? Which collection is your favorite?

I might like a few pieces from their apothecary collection, but I think the whole set would be a bit much and ruin the novelty of each piece. I think the mirror is cool, and quite edgy for Pottery Barn- in a good way.
