Help some animals and feel good about yourself! What's better than that?

Many of you know I am a huge animal lover. Since I lost one of my favorite people, my Australian shepherd Cody, at only 8 yrs. to lymphoma, I have become even more active in helping animals in need. I moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn almost 2 years ago, and started following the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network. They work tirelessly to place animals in foster homes and permanent homes. I discovered them and their wonderful pups and kitties on 7th Ave one weekend during a monthly adoption event. Unfortunately, the bus they use to transport the animals broke down, and they are in dire need of a new one! Read below:

Our pets may be homeless,
but with your help,
at least they can have wheels!

In order to continue our life saving adoption events throughout the long, cold winter months, BAFN just put down $500 on a used mini-school bus.

The cost of the bus is $5,500 and right now, we can only allocate the down payment.
The BAFN Mobile Adoption Unit will allow us to transport and introduce up to 20 cats and 7 dogs to the public – at adoption events all over Brooklyn and in all kinds of weather.
The sooner we pay off the bus the sooner we can "drive up adoptions"!

Please help us make our popular adoption events year-round

by donating as much as you can afford today.

I helped at Christmas with what I could, and if you can manage, any little bit would be appreciated! Mention that you found them via Ashley at Decorology!

Take care of you and your pets!
