Happy Friday! I think this space out of House Beautiful is a refreshing change of pace in that it keeps with a lot of the Scandinavian characteristics we all know and love, but diverges from everything being based in white and takes on a warmer, more country feel. What do you think?
Love maps as art.
I always like to see another artist's inspiration board/work space.
Monday already. I actually did have a restful and productive weekend as I'm trying to take it easy before my marathon this Saturday. These lovely photos should put you in a serene state of mind...
A Swedish interior that isn't all white! Love the jewel tones...
It was other design blogs that inspired me to start a blog, but I've found that it keeps me so busy that I rarely have the time to visit the people who inspired me to do this in the first place. So, I hope to make these "favorite inspiring interiors from my favorite blogs," a monthly or weekly post to see what my friends are up to, and to share them with you guys!
I can't believe it's been a year since I started Decorology! Aside from searching for and collecting beautiful interiors, the best aspect of Decorology - hands-down - is the community! You guys are awesome and it wouldn't be what it is without you! Not only do you encourage me to continue, even when I feel like I've seen every picture before and can't come up with anything new, but you've also been immensely supportive through all the tragedies that befell my family this year. I can't wait for the upcoming year on Decorology!
Happy Friday everyone! Today is a gloomy day in NYC, the kind that makes you want to stay inside and read your favorite book on your fluffiest chair! To invoke that feeling even more, I decided to give you some wonderful Reed Davis photos to feast your eyes on. Gorgeous aren't they?
