Huge Ikea sale, and FREE breakfast!

I didn't know Ikea had sales, but apparently they do now! From Sep. 19th to the 21st, you can get a lot of their best sellers for a deeply discounted price. I'll be at the new Brooklyn Ikea on Saturday picking up some goodies for my new apartment- after a stop at the cafeteria of course :).

Beautiful spaces that also looked lived in...can it be so!?

Joining us from that culinary genius in a boot we call Italy, some interiors that are clean, modern, and also are actually lived in!

Look at those cupboards!

I wonder if that couch is as comfy as it looks

Gorgeous wardrobe

I love how this loft has a room sectioned off, it reminds me of a greenhouse

decor8: Inspired on a Budget

One of my favorite decorating blogs is decor8, and I just had to share some of the images from Car-Mobel, (sadly in Germany), which they featured in a recent post. I also went to the Car Moebel site myself and picked some of my favorite inspirational images.

Gorgeous Interiors

Here's a collection of great interior design.

This bedroom is the epitome of serene and calming. The blue and whites give a cool, calm, and refreshing air. The padded headboard and plush carpet give it a coziness factor.

This room is so bright and clean..I like the books tacked at the end of the ottoman.

This furniture is my idea of perfect, and the blue on the wall is amazing too. It's also nice to see that the owners didn't feel the need to fill the fireplace with anything, and kept it empty.

This kitchen looks like a cooks dream...

Wow! That shower...I'd be wary of peeping toms though...

Swedish Antique Furniture

It was such a treat to find swedishinteriordesign.co.uk, which specializes in Swedish Antique Gustavian, Biedermeier, Rococo and Country Painted, Veneer and Natural Wood Furniture. It is so beautifully crafted, with every attention to detail. Of course I'm also biased because most of it is white! I could fill my home with these gorgeous pieces and never tire of them!

I would love this behind my couch!

This simple fabric would be perfect as a floor mat, table cloth, or runner.

One day I will have this clock!

A beautiful dove grey interior means you don't have to bother with annoying liners.
